Angry? Frustrated? Start Your Journey to Emotional Freedom in a safe, supportive space designed just for you.
Emotions don’t just affect your mind—they live in your body too. Over time, suppressed feelings like anger can lead to physical and emotional imbalances, leaving you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or even exhausted.
In this workshop, we’ll explore how emotions get trapped in the body, the critical role of releasing them, and how this connects to regulating your nervous system for lasting peace.
The Experience
Understand Your Emotions: We’ll start with a discussion on how emotions like anger get stored in the body, affecting everything from your energy levels to your overall well-being.
Let Loose & Let Go: Using tools like bats, punching bags, and a unique "release figure" representing the collective masculine, you’ll have the chance to physically unleash your pent-up rage, frustration, and stress. Whether you need to scream, hit, or let it out through raw movement, this will be a space where you can fully express yourself without judgment.
Regulators Mount Up: After releasing the pent-up energy, we’ll switch gears and I’ll guide you through techniques that help your nervous system reset and restore homeostasis. You’ll feel the weight lift as your body transitions from fight-or-flight into a state of peace and renewal.
End with Pleasure: After the intense release, we’ll close with a pleasurable treat—a snack provided to comfort your body and delight your soul; sending you off feeling lighter, refreshed, and supported.
As women, we are often conditioned to carry the emotional weight of others while keeping our own emotions bottled up. Whether it's managing the stress of work, nurturing relationships, or caring for family, many women prioritize the needs of those around them, neglecting their own emotional well-being.
This can result in anger, frustration, and other strong emotions being pushed down, creating a cycle of suppression that doesn’t just affect your mental health—it impacts your body too.
Research shows that suppressed emotions can manifest physically, leading to issues like fatigue, chronic tension, digestive problems, and even weakened immunity. Women, in particular, are more prone to experiencing these effects due to societal pressures that discourage emotional expression, especially for emotions like anger.
Here’s Why It Matters:
The Emotional Armor: Many women wear an “emotional armor,” believing that showing anger, frustration, or sadness makes them less capable or less loving. But this armor can suffocate emotional freedom, leading to resentment, burnout, and a disconnection from your true self.
The Impact on Your Body: When emotions are suppressed, they don’t disappear. Instead, they become stored in the body, especially in areas like the chest, neck, jaw, and lower back. Over time, these emotional blockages can disrupt the natural flow of energy and create chronic physical discomfort.
Nervous System Overload: Suppressed emotions activate the body’s fight-or-flight response, leaving your nervous system in a constant state of hypervigilance. This contributes to stress, anxiety, and even depression. Women are often balancing many emotional responsibilities, making it crucial to address the long-term impact on their nervous systems.
Breaking the Cycle of Generational Suppression: Many women have learned to suppress their emotions from their mothers and grandmothers—passed down through generations as a means of coping. By learning to safely release emotions, you break this cycle and model healthier emotional expression for future generations.
